In May 2025, Sumi terminated its service agreement with PRO service provider Rinki. The decision was based on a strong request from our customers: producer responsibility reporting must become smoother, more cost-efficient, and better aligned with constantly changing legislation.
Starting from January 2026 reporting, B2B customer service, invoicing, contract management, and producer responsibility communications for Sumi's customers will be handled directly by Sumi, without intermediaries.
All Sumi customers will report their packaging data in the new SumiOn reporting system starting 1 January 2026. From that date onwards, customers will no longer have access to Rinki’s Extranet.

Note: You can also continue to report in the traditional Rinki style within SumiOn if you prefer not to adopt the new features immediately.
We will provide regular updates and guidance throughout autumn 2025 on the rollout of SumiOn and the improvements it brings.
