Sorting instructions for households
Without collection there is no recycling. Only packaging placed in the correct collection container can become recycled raw material. Use the collection container available at your property or take packaging to the nearest RINKI eco-point.
Cardboard
What can you put in cardboard collection bin?

Carton beverage packages (e.g. milk and juice cartons)

Empty the packaging:
Remove food leftovers and other residues. Small stains don’t matter, but larger ones should be wiped away.
Remove plastic caps and lids:
Separate plastic parts and place them in the plastic packaging collection.
Flatten the packaging:
By flattening cardboard packaging, you save space in the collection container and reduce the number of times you have to empty it.
Plastic
What can you put in plastic packaging collection bin?

Note: Not all plastic items belong in plastic packaging collection. Toys, electronics, or textiles are not plastic packaging, even if made of plastic.
Empty
packaging:
Remove all contents from the packaging. A small amount of food waste, such as yoghurt, will not interfere with recycling.
Remove parts:
Remove caps, lids and pump parts that can be easily removed by hand and place them in the collection container separately.
Return the bottles:
Takeyour plastic bottles to a reverse vending machine.
Not included in plastic packaging collection:
Toys, electronics or textiles are not plastic packaging, even if they are made of plastic.
Metal
What can you put in metal packaging collection bin?

Empty and clean the packaging:
Rinse with cold water or wipe clean. It is enough that they can be stored a few days without odor.
Separate different materials:
If the packaging contains easily removable parts made of different materials, such as plastic caps, remove them and sort according to the material.
Return the cans:
Take your deposit cans to a reverse vending machine in the shop.
Large metal objects:
Take metal objects larger than the opening of the collection container to a location specified by your local authority.
Glass
What can you put in glass collection bin?
Household empty glass packages (with caps and lids removed):

Glass jars
Collar rings and labels do not need to be removed. Deposit bottles must be returned to the store’s return machine.
Empty and clean the packaging:
Rinse dirty glass containers with cold water or wipe them clean with paper.
Remove caps and lids:
Separate plastic and metal parts and sort them into the appropriate containers. Metal collars on bottles and jars do not need to be removed.
Not accepted in glass packaging collection:
For example, glass tableware, porcelain, ceramics, crystal glass, window or mirror glass, lamps.
