Developing producer responsibility – daring to do things differently

On Wednesday 11 March at 11:00–11:40 on the PacTec Stage, Sumi’s CEO Mika Surakka will speak about Sumi’s bold innovations and concrete solutions in the field of producer responsibility.

The presentation, “Developing producer responsibility – daring to do things differently”, highlights two key Sumi initiatives: the SumiOn Reporting portal, which transforms packaging data reporting with a customer-oriented approach, and the Sumi Sorting plastic packaging sorting plant project currently under development in Riihimäki.

Both are examples of how a statutory obligation can evolve into active industry development.
