The Sumi team is growing, and we’re delighted to introduce our newest faces, Ade and Ansku. What kind of work do they do, and where do they come from?
Anders Lundin, known as Ade, started in April at Sumi as a Materials Manager. He is responsible for the operations of Sumi’s two subsidiaries, Suomen Maatalousmuovien Kierrätys and Sumi Åland. Ade holds a degree in logistics and has previously worked as a Logistics Coordinator and System Manager in a waste management company.
“Sumi is a constantly evolving and growing company that implements producer responsibility with quality and transparency. Environmental issues are important to me, and it’s great to see this reflected in the company’s culture. Sumi plays a key role in achieving Finland’s future recycling goals.”
Anne-Mari Kulju, also known as Ansku, is Sumi’s new Administrative Assistant. Ansku has Visual Merchandiser and Executive Assistant degrees, and has previously worked as a Marketing Specialist in the staffing service and electrical wholesale industries. Working as an Administrative Assistant felt like a natural next step in her career: “Here, I can combine my assistant degree and marketing expertise in just the right way.”
“Sumi as an employer offers a fascinating vantage point into the circular economy, and it’s wonderful to work with such lovely and professional colleagues. I learn something new about the environmental field every day and am inspired by my colleagues’ genuine passion for the industry!”
